So, this "solar" generator that literally can't hook up to solar because it has an input that isn't compatible. After spending 50-100 dollars on adapters, I still have been unable to find one that is compatible with the port. I contacted the company and they said they'd send me an adapter. A month later, no adapter, contacted again, said oops, we'll send it out, a month later no adapter. Contacted again, said everyone in the office was sick and they'd send an adapter, still no adapter. Okay, I have to charge it with my other solar box, I guess it's not the end of the world as long as the product works great, right? Read on....Plug things into the 110v plug in port. After a few minutes it automatically shuts off. Do some research, it's supposedly caused by the fact that's there isn't enough draw, so I plugged in a surge bar and plugged the fan for the woodstove, the speakers for the television in the living room, and the living room lights. Just the lights alone have a draw of 11 there are 3 of them. So that's above the required draw to keep this running without timing out. Well, according to this generator, my lights, fan, and speakers have a draw of 000. So they run for a few minutes and time out and everything shuts off. I've tried everything to get this thing to stay on and it doesn't matter how much draw I have, it times out every time and shuts everything off. That's a big deal since we purchased this to run our woodstove fan for the winter. If it shuts off every 15 minutes, I can't rely on it at night. Again, contacted company and they ignored my question completely. I'm past the point of return as they kept stringing me along, so I'm stuck with this junk.Buyers beware. There are much better options out there.Got this for other home application so I don't have to use my bigger power bank. And it does what its supposed to do.
