These are good quality, although snug, bike shorts. The chamois padding is excellent and has kept me comfortable on long( 2hrs+ )rides. They do however run quite small. I have a 34" waist, weigh about 180Lbs, and am 6FT tall. My other bike shorts are either mediums or larges. I originally ordered a pair of these shorts in large and found them way too snug in the waist, thighs, and bum. I had to exchange for XL and still they are not at all baggy. I guess Castelli thinks L sized riders will be stick-like skinny. Order up one size from what you usually would wear and you will probably have a better fit.Great fit. Great padding. Great look. Great, great, great!I replaced my padded undershorts with these. You can't tell the difference with your hands, as the foam doesn't seem very different. But when you put them on and ride, the difference is amazing! Very comfortable!I brought these and the Endurance 3 to see which ones were more comfortable and if the extra $50 was worth it. After multiple rides with both shorts ranging from 1 hour to upwards of 6 hours, I found no difference in the comfort level. Both performed excellent and I didn't need to use chamois cream anymore. They are on the smaller size so order at least one size larger then what you normally get.I am a 31 inch waist for my dress pants. I am 5'7" and 165 pounds. I initially ordered the small like I always do and I couldn't get one leg in. Had to reorder in large. The length is longer than any other of my riding shorts. The material and quality seems nice. Will ride with them tomorrow and update my reviewI saw the reviews before I bought so I ordered XL when normally I buy Large with Castelli but I decided to go with XL this time based on what people where saying and I am glad I did, they fit perfect! not sure why a brand would make smaller on their own brand. I also feel like these Castelli shorts have a bit more quality than the ones I normally buy but I did not find them this time. But I am very satisfiedThe title says it all.
